This is my friend Bed. There are many things about this guy that I don’t understand and stopped trying to understand when it came to physical fitness and general reasoning. Bed, for the most part, has a very easy going and sleep-like demeanor. And when I mean sleep-like, I mean he looks like he just rolled out of the bed ALL THE TIME, hence the nickname “Bed”. His staple nutrition plan is composed of Cheetos and various potato chips, Chips Ahoy cookies, Starkist tuna packs, ice cream, and sandwiches. Now this leads me to the anomaly portion. With his sleepy self and foul nutrition, he’s able to beat most of us on WODs almost ALL THE TIME. At first, I wrote this off as a good day for him. When he started to beat us on WODS on a normal basis, I begin to delve deeper into whom we call “Bed”. I came fruitless on the venture. Bed is Bed. We don’t know how he does it, he just does it.
Bed did “Grace” yesterday in 2:25 Rx with us as witnesses. It was ugly, but it was done. How? Who knows. In Bed's words, "It's no big deal."
